Shipping and sanctions: recent developments in case law

Sanctions are expected to lead to some litigation in coming years with projected grain exports from Black Sea ports disrupted in the 2021–2022 export season. From the point of view of shipping contracts, sanctions may give rise to a range of disparate issues as parties scramble to offload inevitable losses.
